It’s well known that the only way to make good quality, long life aluminum veneers is to use fluorocarbon paint. However, there are several different processes in the process of painting, and the quality of aluminum plates produced is also different. At present, the aluminum veneer manufacturers capable of spraying aluminum plate basic realization of three to two roasting, three to one roasting, of course, two to one roasting, two to two roasting and so on. The only thing that is said above is two roasting and three baking. So what’s three on two? It mainly refers to three groups of spray guns, the first primer, the second color paint (fluorocarbon or polyester paint), and the third protective finish (varnish), and the second baking refers to the two times of baking after three coating of aluminum plate. But now the spray line is basically: three on one roast, two on one roast.
Of course, there is now a process called “four coats and two roasts”. Four coats (primer, intermediate coat, varnish, varnish) are used when there is a large amount of aluminum paint in the primer, and an intermediate coat is needed between the primer and varnish. To protect the coating from uv, moisture and chemicals, some paint with glitter and all paint with sheet metal needs to be varnish coated. Varnish can be used for any coating to increase protection, improve overall performance and simplify maintenance of the coating system. Test data obtained at the world wide exposure test site indicate that the additional varnish coating is very resistant to weather. This typically occurs in areas where coastal areas are more corrosive, and we’re not talking about it here.
